If anyone's out there tell me your reaction I wanna know
Here are some questions for fans of the Professor Layton series to answer.
Talk about whether more games ought to combine education with gaming. Can you think of other educational games that are equally as fun?
How important were the characters to your enjoyment of the games? How about the dialogue, the scenery, and the music? What components are necessary to make a game great?
Talk about whether having a good mystery to solve helped to motivate you to tackle the tricky puzzles. How many of those puzzles had you seen before? Were you glad you could get hints?
Talk about the fun involved in solving puzzles. What sorts of real-world puzzles have you recently solved? How do you feel when you figure out the answer to a tricky riddle?
Talk about the strategies stores employ to sell us things. Did one of the games' shop mini-game make you think about the tactics real-world stores use to make you buy more stuff? Can you think of any instances in which you purchased things you later realized you didn't really need or even want? How can you avoid this in the future?
Have you ever noticed how stepping back and taking a break from a particularly frustrating conundrum sometimes makes it easier to solve when you return? Why do you think that might be?
Talk about Luke's role in the games. He's pretty young to be going on such a dangerous adventure. Do you think Professor Layton is cautious enough with him around? Do you think you would handle such an adventure as maturely as he does?
Talk about puzzle games vs. action games. Can games that reward fast brains as opposed to fast thumbs be just as exciting? What attracts you to a brainy game like Professor Layton?
Talk about how playing through a compelling story can make you want to tackle brain-stretching puzzles. Would you try to solve the puzzles if they weren't contained within a story?
What puzzles were easy to solve and which ones were more challenging for you? Did you like having hints available? Did you use them?
The Professor Layton series have games that take a long time to play through. How do manage your time playing video games?

<p>With CoVid-19 still causing a lot of spare time I am replaying all the Prof. Layton games beginning with Last Specter. I want to experience the story in full (will be watching Eternal Diva between LS and MM), but want to know if the most recent game and the animae live up to the original 6 games + Layton Bros. What do y’all think?

<p>Hey all! Some of you may have heard of Team Top Hat, a team of developers, artists, etc. currently developing a Layton romhack. We are currently looking for more team members, specifically:
</p><p>Background Artists
</p><p>New artists need to demonstrate a broad understanding of perspective and stylistic alteration. You will need to focus on architecture and minute detail. Since this project is still in its development phase, upon joining, it will take a few months before you will be given serious assignments for finalized products, and in these few months, we want you to practice the Layton background artstyle. Most importantly, all backgrounds need to look consistent, so that when you move from one area to another, the difference is unnoticable. We currently have a few backgrounds from our project ready, as well as some upscaled HD backgrounds from the Layton for you to study off of.
</p><p>Mappers
</p><p>Mapping essentially means you will design the layout of the map. Basic fundamental understanding is required.
</p><p>Puzzle Creators
</p><p>What makes Layton games Layton games are obviously their puzzles. And we need you to think of clever puzzles. Please keep in mind the limitations of the Nintendo DS. Basic requirement is creativity.
</p><p>Puzzle Aritsts
</p><p>A lot of puzzles have already been completed, and we have a full Google Doc of puzzles. Most puzzles area lacking illustrations, and that‘s where Puzzle Artists come in: what makes the role of puzzle artist so amazing is that you don‘t really need that much of the same artstyle. A lot of puzzles have differing artstyles, depending on what artist made them. Although keep in mind that we do have some form of quality control, and we expect a degree of quality for puzzles. Some minor rules, such as blank background being a no-no, also come into play.

<p>its been 4 years now with out even the hint of considering a sequel but the twitter accounts for Lucy and Alfendi are still posting so they clearly haven't forgotten about it. Alfendi is mentioned in his sisters game. they could be keeping quiet for a big reveal but if that's so how long will i be waiting? it could be any day or years and i just wish there where a way to know if the developers would ever even consider it.

<p>I know that Randall promised Angela that the expedition to Akbadain when they were younger was going to be his last. But I doubt that Angela would mind Hershel teaching Randall how to think like Layton, how he thinks at least and uses his environment like layton. I know they probably just don't want another chance of Randall getting himself killed but with a little tweaking, he could be (almost XD ) as smart as Layton. I was a bit upset when Randall was nowhere to be seen or heard from in Azran Legacies (as far as I know. I've only seen the cutscenes). You'd think that the good Hershel Layton would include his best friend who is of course an Azran enthusiast, in at least some way when looking for any other parts of the Azran. Its not like it is really THAT classified that he can't tell Randall about the Azran girl. I mean do phones not exist there? Maybe with all of Descole's inventing, you'd think he'd invent a phone. I hate how when we find out more of Professor Layton's background, those people, his best friend, his other friends, his girlfriend, etc. they are never heard/seen again :(. I know how important that keeping promises is but there's no reason why Randall couldn't have been involved in the slightest.
