Babette is a minor character in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. She pampers her dog Tom so much, that he escapes for a breather which causes confusion for Layton and Luke on the train.

Babette wore a long red sleeveless dress with a purple feather boa and purple low heeled shoes. She also wore an extravagant amount of jewellery.

Professor Layton and the Eternal DivaEdit

Babette was seen outside the Crown Petone with a manservant, waiting to go inside and see the performance.

After losing to either Puzzle No.001 or Puzzle No.002, she was sent back to England with the other losing contestants in the game for Eternal Life in a submarine. She was seen on the beach with her manservant.

Prologue: The Elysian BoxEdit

Babette could be seen trying to board the Molentary Express despite being stuck in the doorway, with help from Sammy. She bemoaned the train, whilst keeping an agitated Inspector Chelmey and Barton waiting.

Chapter 1: The Legendary Molentary ExpressEdit

Babette was first met by Professor Layton and Luke in the Express dining car, where she pushed ahead of them in the queue for a table.

Later on, Layton and Luke found her in the second car, demanding that Chelmey find her "boy", Tom. Layton joined in the search, while Babette took a nap in her cabin.

Layton eventually worked out that Babette's "boy" was actually a dog. He and Luke remembered that they had seen a girl carrying around a dog, and managed to successfully retrieve and return him to Babette.
