Babette could be seen trying to board the Molentary Express despite being stuck in the doorway, with help from Sammy. She bemoaned the train, whilst keeping an agitated Inspector Chelmey and Barton waiting.

Chapter 1: The Legendary Molentary Express

Babette was first met by Professor Layton and Luke in the Express dining car, where she pushed ahead of them in the queue for a table.

Later on, Layton and Luke found her in the second car, demanding that Chelmey find her "boy", Tom. Layton joined in the search, while Babette took a nap in her cabin.

Layton eventually worked out that Babette's "boy" was actually a dog. He and Luke remembered that they had seen a girl carrying around a dog, and managed to successfully retrieve and return him to Babette.
