Cogg is a character appearing in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. He and his wife, Spring, own the Clock Shop of London. He is usually the one operating the giant clock in the back of the shop. Like Spring and Shipley, he was once employed by the Dove family a few years back. Afterwards he, unknowingly, became an ally to Clive and his master plan.

Puzzles

Cogg gives Layton and Luke a puzzle that must be solved in the main story line. The Time Machine won't work unless Layton fixes the Cogs inside of it. This gives them the puzzle "Cogged Down".
