It was built 1 year prior to the events of Eternal Diva, by the influence of Oswald Whistler, along with Dr. Schrader's help. It was a massive place, and was built over the Atlantic Ocean. It's decoration was themed around the lost city of Ambrosia.
Professor Layton and Luke were invited to the opera house by Janice Quatlane, who needed their assistance. Emmy dropped them off before heading back to London. During their visit they watched her perform in 'The Eternal Kingdom' opera, and were trapped as contestants in the game for Eternal Life.
Later, it turned out to be a massive ship that broke away from the shore, it then became surrounded by controlled sharks preventing anyone from exiting the game for Eternal Life. Soon after those who have solved Puzzle No.002 left the ship in the lifeboats, the ship was destroyed in a massive explosion (with Inspector Grosky still on board) and the remaining debris sank. Those who had 'lost' the game were sent back to Britain in a submarine, whilst Descole left with his henchmen and the Detragan in another heading for Ambrosia.
