Doland Noble is a major character in Professor Layton and the Last Specter. He is the Triton family's butler.

Doland wear a brown suit jacket over a white shirt with a red bow-tie. He also wears glasses.

Doland has a very kind and quiet way of living. His submissive nature can be easily exploited.

Butler and friend of the Triton household, Doland has taken care of Luke ever since he was a baby.

His quiet demeanor and kind nature were easily exploited and, as such, he was the first to be taken hostage.

Pre-Game LifeEdit

An unknown amount of time before Last Specter, Doland was taken hostage by Jean Descole. He was locked in the Triton house's basement, while Descole took his place. Brenda eventually found out, so she too was kidnapped and locked away by Descole. Descole used the kidnap of both his employee and wife in order to manipulate Clark.

Professor Layton and the Last SpecterEdit

Doland remains kidnapped for the duration of the game along with Brenda.

When Professor Layton finally solves the mystery, he sends Emmy to the Triton's manor in order to rescue Doland and Brenda. The real Doland is seen in the post-credits cutscene, placing Luke's trunk into the family's car.

Puzzles Edit

While at the Triton Estate, Doland Noble gives the single puzzle to Professor Layton, "Captain's Call."

  • Doland's Japanese voice actor, Fubito Yamano, is the same voice actor who voiced the older version of Anton in Diabolical Box.
  • In a trunk episode, Doland claims that he used to box. It is never confirmed to be true.
