Marina Triton is a character appearing in the anime Layton Mystery Detective Agency: Kat's Mystery-Solving Files. She is Luke Triton's self-proclaimed wife.

- In the same anime episode Luke Triton first re-appeared in as an adult, he is also introduced to have a "partner": Marina.
- She was later since referred to as his "wife".
- However, there is no evidence that the two are actually married neither civilly nor religiously however the two are de facto cohabitants i.e., de facto cohabitants are two people who have a strong emotional bond as a couple who can live together and you don't have to be forcibly married, have a kinship bond or live together to adopt someone. De facto cohabitation requires that the couple love each other, that there is mutual respect and support both morally and materially and in the anime both Luke and Marina fit all these requirements so, the surname " Triton" given to Marina is nothing more than a "creation" of the fans given her self-proclaimed.
- However certainly Luke proposed to Marina but for the moment he only thought about solving the mystery of the Relic Stones and this is confirmed by Marina in the finale when she states that Luke would think first about "chasing" a mystery than "chasing" a woman.
- Official information from the Layton anime twitter (Japanese) mentions like Professor Layton and Luke did before, Luke and his wife solved mysteries together.
- Her age is officially "Unknown", though estimated to be around the same as Luke's - around age 23~25 during his first appearance as a younger adult, where he also first appeared with Marina; and around age 33~35 in the present day.
