Goosey is a minor character in Professor Layton and the Last Specter. He is a man who, due to having a strange obsession with hide-and-seek, spends his time concealing himself from others.

Appearance[]
Goosey is a portly, fair-skinned, brown-haired man who bears an uncanny resemblance to a bird. He wears a conical red hat resembling a Capotain or a Welsh hat, a blue shirt with two white buttons, red pants, and an orange scarf.
Personality[]
Goosey is obsessed with the game hide-and-seek to the point where he is always trying to conceal himself, either by hiding behind walls or trying to fit into objects. Due to his size, however, he always sticks out and thus is easily found by even those who are not actively trying to find him. He also has the odd habit of calling attention to himself by yelling out his own name.

Chapter 5: The Witch's Castle[]
Goosey was first found hiding on the riverside road behind a bush. He explained to Luke and Emmy about his hide-and-seek problem.
Chapter 7: Third Eye Jakes[]
After Emmy comes back from London to meet with Layton and Luke at the Library, Goosey is found hiding between the bookshelves.
Chapter 9: The Specter Becomes Clear[]
Goosey can be found hiding behind a crate at the Third Ridge in the Closed Factory while Layton, Luke and Emmy try to get to said factory's Warehouse.

- Goosey inadvertently breaks the fourth wall whenever he is hiding when Layton and company converse with him. From the way his sprites look, it gives off the illusion he is holding the edge of the DS's bottom screen.
