Ignaize is a magic spell used by witches in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It is a fire type spell, which ignites anything the user wants within a one meter radius.
The magic gem for the Talea Magica is red and shaped like a flame.
Plot[]
The spell Ignaize was used before the first Witch Trial. Espella presumably used to ignite the two thieves Muggs and Robbs while they where threatening her.
It is later revealed that Kira is the one who actually used the spell. She used the spell Dimere to get within the 1 meter radius undetected.
Like all magic spells, Ignaize is faked by the Shades. The Shades use a flamethrower to create the effect, but with limited range, explaining the range of the spell itself.
