The Layton Home is a location in Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. It became the home of the Layton family when they moved to Stansbury.

Layton HomeEdit

This area consists of the path leading up to the Layton household. The house resides right next to the river. Hershel's father, Roland, can often be found here throughout the game.

The first floor consists of an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with a fireplace in the corner and the staircase leading up to the second floor. Hershel's mother, Lucille, remains here for the entire game.

Hershel's RoomEdit

Hershel's room is tidy and plain, consisting of a bed, a desk, a set of drawers and a large bookcase. There are photos, maps and a clock on the wall.

At the end of the game, Hershel's room can be used to see Stansbury at both day and night by tapping the bed, and to go back to the hotel room at the Dromedary Hotel in the present day by tapping the desk.

Chapter 2: The Secret of NorwellEdit

Hershel visits here after his initial venture with Randall. Upon entering the house, he notices his mother panicking about where his father went. Layton then looks for Roland, and eventually finds him at the gate at the north end of town.

Chapter 6: The Ghosts of AkbadainEdit

Later in the game, Hershel comes home to tell his parents, after the death of Randall, that he is leaving for London to pursue further education at Gressenheller University.

  • In the British version of Miracle Mask, the house is called Riverside Cottage.
