Layton Mystery Detective Agency: Kat's Mystery-Solving Files is an TV animation of the Professor Layton series, specifically based on Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy. It premiered on April 8, 2018. A report in Q3 2017 suggested it would have a 2018 release with 26 episodes,[1] while a later announcement by a Singapore-based distribution company lists it as having fifty 30 minute episodes.[2]
