I currently don't feel we should be covering Layton 7. Thing is, it is not a Professor Layton game and we are the Professor Layton Wiki. From what I understand, Layton 7 is the start of a whole new series. I'm kinda sad they used the "Layton" name for it.
Of course if Vision reveals it is Professor Layton related, we will cover it.
Respectfully I disagree, I think the fact that it has the Layton name and is made by the same people should be enough to warrant coverage even if it is completely different. Like how Mystery Room wasn't a traditional Layton Game but pages were created for it. I just think that regardless of how not similar to the main series it is, the developers have used the Layton name (they didn't have to but hey-ho) and that's why I'm trying to get it a page.
Though, yeah I agree this isn't the continuation I wanted for Layton in any way either.
Layton Brothers was a different case entirely. It is very clearly linked to the Professor Layton series (characters, uses the layton top hat in the logo). Layton 7 on the other hand is only linked by the name and that's it. It's a completely different universe. It doesn't even have a real page on http://www.layton.jp/ (clicking it leads to level5.co.jp).
Granted, that may change with Vision. I suggest we wait until after that is over (it's less than a week anyway).
It just don't want the wiki scope to become too broad. Yeah, I know the actual series is dead, but that hasn't stopped many other wikis.
Well you can see on the puzzle index pages that the list just stops around 80 :P
And this is just the infobox data, the actual puzzle pages need even more stuff on them (although that can be done later)
Once the infobox sheet is filled I'll generate blank puzzle pages with just the infobox on it. It'll give a bit of an illusion of being done. At any rate it should make it easier to complete the pages.
