Plot
In the Ace Attorney series
He is the childhood friend and rival of Phoenix Wright. His father, Gregory Edgeworth a renowned defense Attorney was killed in the DL-6 incident. Originally, he was a ruthless prosecutor, doing anything to get a guilty verdict.
After his defeat by the hands of Wright, he left America to find out what being a prosecutor really meant, coming to the conclusion that prosecutors were seekers of the truth, and that winning a guilty verdict wasn't all that mattered.
In the video game, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, he met Kay Faraday who acted as his partner along with Detective Dick Gumshoe, then brought Quercus Alba, the leader of an international smuggling ring, to justice.
Eight years later in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, he became the Chief Prosecutor in the district and conspired with Wright in order too lure out the Phantom. He also fought against Phoenix Wright as the prosecutor in the UR-1 Incident.
