She has her hair up in a bun, and has glasses similar to Randall's, but with a slimmer frame. She wears gold earrings, and a plain red dress. She uses a wheelchair.
Mrs. Ascot lived with her husband and son in Stansbury. When Randall dissapeared, she and her husband used all the money they had to find him, to no avail. Henry later took her in and she lived in Monte d'Or with Angela and Henry.
Some time later, she encountered Hershel Layton again. She told him everything Henry had done for her and her now deceased husband, and said that he never truly recovered from Randall’s death. Layton also figured out that she was the guarantor who assisted Henry when he was still too young to run his businesses alone.
After Randall was revealed to be the Masked Gentleman, Sheffield went to the Ledore Mansion to collect her, so that she could tell Randall how his accusations against Henry are all false. Despite needing Jean Descole’s help to remember Henry, Layton and others, Randall recognised his mother instantly.
