Niklaus is a character appearing in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. He is seen in future London very early in Layton and Luke's excursion into it. He inhabits Midland Road. Later whenever Future Luke accompanies Layton and Luke to go back to the Clock Shop the go past the observatory in the park. They go to a door and behind it (after Future Luke knocks the door down) Niklaus, here, is found dozing off. This shows how much he likes to stay away from trouble but he says sorry to Layton and co.
