He has a tanned complexion, brown hair and black eyes. He wears a blue shirt, a pink hat, and has brown pants with red shoes.
Personality[]
Niles is a playful child, but is quite bored in Folsense, as there are nearly no other children with whom he can play.
Plot[]
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box[]
Professor Layton and Luke met Niles near the train station. He complained about having nobody to play with, and mentioned that he recently had been losing his breath very quickly from activity.
However, Niles, along with the rest of Folsense and its residents, turned out be an illusion created by a gas coming from Herzen Castle. The real Niles existed fifty years ago, the illusion of him disappears when the castle collapsed clogging up the hole where the gas spewed out.
Puzzles[]
Niles is one of the many residents of Folsense that give Layton and Luke a puzzle or two. The puzzles Niles gives them are "Disappearing Act 1" and "Can Conundrum".
