Parrot (name can be chosen by the player, subsequently appearing in speech bubbles) is a parrot appearing in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.
Plot
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
Thanks to the tests he had to undergo in Dimitri's lab, he acquired the ability to memorize and imitate words quite fluently. The Parrot tags along with Professor Layton and company after you help Graham find a red bauble in his tight bag. He helps Layton and his friends get into Chinatown, by mimicking Bostro's voice. When Shmelmey and Shmarton hear the Parrot say "Get lost" in Bostro's voice, they immediately run off, later to be seen at the Towering Pagoda.
After talking with Stachenscarfen in Future London, the Parrot will take on delivery jobs for citizens in town. After you complete all the delivery requests, the Messengers House will be available in Layton's Challenges. Once received, Parrot will look for hint coins just like the other animal party members. It has been confirmed that he is Subject 1 when Luke talks with Subject 3 before the party heads to the Research Facility.
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
A similar parrot appears as a slight cameo appearance in the game, appearing outside of the The Dromedary Hotel. The Parrot flies around the hotel and can be poked to drop the "Enigma Coin," a part of the collection.
