This postie's round has just been doubled and he needs to shave some time off his route! The fastest way to make it to the next town is to go right across the frozen surface of the lake. Unfortunately, it's so slippery, the postie won't be able to stop unless he bumps into something. What's more, some parts of the ice are so thin, they'll break as he crosses, meaning he'll only be able to use them once.

Can you guide the postie and help him reach the other side of the lake without falling in?

From the first rock the postman slides into, you've got no choice but to head downwards. After landing on the thin ice at the bottom of the lake, you're faced with a decision: right or left.

You think you should head left? Hmm. Think carefully about what happens when you choose the two directions.

From the thin ice mentioned in Hint 1, you have to go right. After that, slide upwards to the top of the lake and follow the route until you land on some more thin ice.

From this central patch of thin ice you can go up or down. Which will you choose?
