All Under Control is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. The puzzle must be solved in order to progress the story.

The control panel for the device has nine buttons, one for every cylinder. Pressing a button activates a total of seven cylinders, starting with the one corresponding to the button pressed and then followed by every second cylinder in a clockwise direction.

To fix the device, Layton must make all nine cylinders visible by pressing a single button. Can you help him choose? You only have three chances. Good luck!

Click a Tab to reveal the Hint.

As you can see on the top screen, two cylinders are already exposed. There are nine cylinders in total, meaning that you need to raise seven cylinders.

Think about this for a minute and something should become apparent to you.

Activating already exposed cylinders causes them to withdraw back into their holes. Now, since all nine cylinders need to be exposed and you can only activate seven of them, you shouldn't activate either of the cylinders that are already exposed.

The last cylinder to be exposed is the lowest one on the left side of the control panel. If you consider the fact that alternate cylinders are activated in a clockwise circular motion, you should be able to work backwards to find which cylinder needs to be raised first.

Still unsure? Well, the button to press is on the right side of the panel. Have a think about which one it might be.

You can't work out which of the four buttons on the right side of the panel you need to press?

It's one of the upper ones. That should be all the help you need.

Too bad.

Think carefully about how alternate cylinders are activated when deciding which button to press.

Well done!

The device should work properly now!
