Blooming Flowers is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. The puzzle must be solved in order to progress the story.

A family expecting a new arrival want to celebrate by filling their garden with flowers. These flowers can't just be planted any old way, of course: each flower must be surrounded by flowers of a different colour.

With this in mind, use the various blocks to fill the garden with flowers. Bear in mind that flowers can't be planted in the square that contains the family's house.

The fact that the pieces can't overlap makes this puzzle a bit harder than it initially looks.

The first thing you should do is place the reverse C-shaped blocked in the bottom-right corner of the garden. The two flowers that make up the smallest of the blocks should be placed above this first block.

The L-shaped block with five flowers on it goes in the bottom-left corner of the garden.

Place the six-flower cross-shaped block between the L-shaped block and the reverse C-shaped block.

Make sure you don't put it on top of the house!

Put the small T-shaped block in the top-right corner of the garden.

Only three blocks left to place, now. Can you work out where they need to go?

The four-flower block that looks like an "L" on its side goes in the top-left corner.

If you take a good look at the two remaining blocks, it should be easy enough to work out where they need to go.

Blooming marvellous!

The garden has been filled with beautiful blossoms.

Incidentally, the "new arrival" is a baby goat. It had better not eat all those flowers!
