Chatty Parrots is a puzzle in Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It is part of a Special Episode, and must be solved during that episode to continue.

Puzzle

A flock of parrots has a message to convey. Each different parrot has a word they'd just love to get across, but unfortunately they're all speaking at once. This means their message is getting a bit scrambled...

Try and work out which parrot is saying what and see if you can decipher the message. Just make sure you're listening to the right parrots!

Hints

Click a Tab to reveal the Hint.

The parrot in the picture below loves his coffee dark. Or is it his tea? Perhaps it could be that he loves dark afternoons...

The white parrot with the pink shawl and the blue parrot with the brown hat are in one of the five cages together. Working out their words should be simple.

The parrot in the pink shawl is saying "AND" while the blue parrot with the brown hat loves his "CHOCOLATE".

Three parrots down, five to go!

The parrot in the green hat is in all of the cages except for the bottom right cage.

We can deduce that parrot is saying "HIS".

The red parot is saying "LAYTON", the yellow parrot is saying "LOVES" and the orange parrot is saying "TEA".

Now it's only a matter of thinking about which of the five messages makes the most sense.

Surely you've grown well acquainted with the good professor by now?

Solution

Incorrect

Almost!

The message seems to have something to do with warm beverages...

Think carefully and try to imagine what that message could be!

Correct

Excellent!

A gentleman like the professor always makes time for tea.
