Finding Ambrosia is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.

Puzzle

Research into the text inscribed on this stone tablet has revealed that the three lines read as follows:
"Remember fair Ambrosia, City of Harmony."
"Remember our queen, the sleeping jewel."
"Silent in the fair City of Harmony."

Can you work out which of the characters inscribed on the tablet represent the word "Ambrosia"? Select all the corresponding characters.

Hints

Click a Tab to reveal the Hint.

Carefully compare the three lines of text and you'll notice that each line has certain parts in common. These parts should be the starting point for solving this puzzle.

Both the first and the second lines contain the word "remember". Therefore, the characters these two lines have in common must represent this word. What are these characters?

Next, focus on the parts that the first and third lines have in common: "fair" and "City of Harmony".

The word "Ambrosia" is represented by three ancient characters.

Once you've removed the characters on the first line that also appear on other lines, you know that whatever characters are left are those which represent "Ambrosia".

Solution

Incorrect

Not so great...

Carefully compare the translated text against the characters written on the tablet.

Correct

Great work!

Finding the parts that each line of text has in common is the key to solving this puzzle.

Curiously enough, the Azran term for "City of Harmony" is fairly simple, but the literal translation of "remember" would be something like "view the past in your heart and mind". Isn't it funny that common words in one language have no equivalent in another?
