Foggy Numbers is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Last Specter. The puzzle must be solved in order to progress the story.
Puzzle
The fog has made this sign impossible to read. While the townsfolk can't recall the exact order in which the numbers appear, they do remember the following:
- Each number from 1 to 9 appears once.
- 5 is between two larger numbers.
- 3 is between two smaller numbers.
- 7 is between two larger numbers.
- The first number is 9 and the last number is 1.
Use the clues to put the numbers in the correct order.

What on earth could this sign be referring to? It's a bit too long for a house number or street address...
