Frozen in Time is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. The puzzle must be solved in order to progress the story.

According to Professor Sycamore, the words "divide into fours" are written in an ancient language on the back of this stone tablet.

The tablet is divided by beams of blue light, and touching the round stones changes the direction in which these beams of light shine.

Rotate the beams of light so that they all connect, dividing the stone tablet into multiple sections containing four squares. Bear in mind that the square in the centre is excluded.

Click a Tab to reveal the Hint.

If you get stuck, take things one step at a time and try different combinations. Start by creating the two sections shown here.

The right-hand side of the tablet should look like this.

Rotate the stones so that the bottom of the tablet looks like this. Once you've done that, there's only the top part left to worry about!

Aim to create the square, as highlighted below. Once this is done, all you need to do is turn a single stone three times.

Too bad.

You need to make sure that all your sections contain four squares. Check again and make sure you haven't missed any.

Nicely divided!

Hmm? The ice has started to rumble...
What's going on?!
