Watch out! You might think you're used to these swinging hooks by now, but don't get cocky! Getting Layton through in one piece will be no mean feat.
The hooks always swing back and forth across the same routes, but you'll need to closely examine how they move, and plan Layton's steps carefully to get him safely across to the other side.
After just one step, you're faced with a choice: up or down?
Luckily, there's a hook closing in on Layton, making it an easy decision!
Move him one step upwards, then two steps to the right.
If you followed the steps listed in Hint 1, the next thing you need to think about is whether Layton should take the upper or the lower route towards the goal.
Start by making him follow the hook below him towards the bottom of the screen.
Following on from Hint 2, once he's gone down as far as possible, you can choose to move him left or right. Since moving left will take him closer to the start, the best thing to do is to push on, taking one step to the right, followed by one step downwards.
Next, move Layton to the right until he can't go any further, then move him upwards as far as he can go.
If you've followed the previous hints, the goal should only be two steps away!
No doubt you want to get Layton there as quickly as you can, but if he heads straight for the goal from here, he'll bump into that hook.
To avoid it, have him take a step downwards, and then it'll be safe to head for the goal!
