Puzzle

US Version

The ringmaster is having a word with the man in charge of lighting--an angry word.

"Hey! What do you call this mess?! Put those lights in order on the double! Leave the top-left and bottom-right ones--they're all right. You need to move and rotate the rest! And they need to be in order from top left to bottom right!"

UK Version

The ringmaster is having a word with the man in charge of lighting - an angry word.

"Hey! What do you call this mess?! Put those lights in order, on the double! Leave the top-left and bottom-right ones, they're all right. You need to move and rotate the rest! Remember, they need to be in order from top left to bottom right!"

The ringmaster said to put the lights in order. What did he mean?

Do you notice anything about the lights on the top left and bottom right? Those are placed correctly, remember.

Have you worked out what the ringmaster meant when he said the top-left and bottom-right were all right? Try holding your Nintendo 3DS at a distance and looking at the lower screen.

They look like numbers, don't they?

The lights at the top left and bottom right represent numbers. The top-left lights represent 1, and the bottom-right ones 8. Oh, and it seems there are eight places to place the lights as well.

The order in which to place the lights should now be as clear as day.

Place the lights so that they represent the numbers 1, 2, 3, and so on in order.

Oh, and one more thing. In order of color, the lights should be: white, red, blue, yellow, yellow, blue, red, and then white.
