Two Numbers is a weekly puzzle in Professor Layton and the Last Specter.

Two athletes wearing numbered bibs were standing next to each other. A child stopped before them and read the two single digits on their bibs as a two-digit number. Then all of a sudden the two athletes stood on their heads. Seeing this, the child remarked, "Their number's 27 bigger than it was before!"

If that's the case, what was the actual number on each of their bibs?

Click a Tab to reveal the Hint.

There are only a few numbers that can be read uside down: 0, 1, 6, 8, and 9.

Use these numbers to try to find a number that's 27 more when each of its digits is turned upside down.

Too bad!

Consider some other numbers.

Their two bibs are 6 and 9, or 69!

When they stood on their heads, the number became 96. The child was right! 96 is 27 more than 69.
