Lunar Leapfrog Which Finger? Who Broke It?

Which Finger? is a puzzle in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.

Puzzle

When counting on his finger, this eccentric man counts in the order you see in the picture below. When he counts from one to five, he returns to his thump and continues counting in the same order, starting with six.

If he continues counting in this way, which finger would he land on when he gets to 763?
