Slate is a character appearing in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. He is popular with the local kids for his kindness. The kids of Future London help Slate paint his mural on a wall next in Chinatown in the northern part. Later on in the game, if Professor Layton and Luke keep returning to Slate, his mural is eventually finished. They also must solve his puzzles.

PuzzlesEdit

Slate gives Professor Layton and Luke three puzzler during their time in Future London. These puzzles are as follows: "Peculiar Paint Job", "Tricolor Template", and "Tricky Tilework".

  • His name is a reference to a slate, a building material of sorts.
