Taboras Lloyd is the childhood friend of Cesar Chance and the editor in chief of the newspaper, the London Times. Taboras also made a cameo in File 34.

Taboras has grey hair, black eyes and he has black sunglasses above his eyes.
Eleven years ago, Taboras wore brown pants, a white collared shirt with black buttons, and suspenders. In the present time, Taboras wears a light grey blazer with matching pants, a white shirt, a navy blue tie, blue, red and white striped socks and black shoes.

The chief editor of the popular London Times newspaper. He's a very jolly man- the total opposite of Chance, who has been a close friend since school.
Trivia[]
- His name is a pun on "tabloid", referring to his newspaper job.
- His name in the Spanish version, Edward Indian, is a reference to the real-life Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.
- According to his friend, Cesar Chance, like him Taboras Lloyd is also a parent; in the following Case Coda, Ratman Forever, it is revealed that Taboras is indeed, a father of nine children, and as such, he's quite adept in handling the needs of a baby.
- Interestingly, this detail is not mentioned at all in Layton Mystery Detective Agency: Kat's Mystery-Solving Files.
