The Masked Gentleman is one of the main antagonists in Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
Profile
Appearance
He wears a white suit jacket with a purple cravat, white shoes, white gloves, and a white top hat with a blue band. He carries around a purple cane with a gold handle.
Plot
The Masked Gentleman appears first 1 month before Professor Layton, Luke Triton and Emmy Altava do in Monte d'Or. He performs his 'dark miracles' on the town and its people, wreaking havoc. These 'miracles' Layton and Leonard Bloom (Detective Inspector, Senior detective at Scotland Yard), uncover how they were really done.
The miracles (in order of mention in game):
- Petrified/Stone people - People turned into horses - Paintings coming to life - People bursting into flames - Walking on air, people lifted into the sky - (Although unsuccessful) Destroying Monte d'Or
