Time between Events 1.2 million years before The Azran Civilization goes extinct. Aurora is trapped inside a prison of ice. Around 40 to 35 years before Hershel and Theodore are born to Leon Bronev and his wife Rachel. Over 30 years before Past events from Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. Bronev and his wife are kidnapped by the Targent. Theodore is adopted by Roland and Lucille Layton. His name is changed to Hershel Layton. Unknown Emmy Altava is born. Around 20 years before Past events from Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask* Hershel Layton attends Kingsbrook Academy. He becomes friends with Randall Ascot, Angela Ledore and several others. Randall and Hershel sneak out and go to the ruins of Akbadain. They trigger a trap and Randall falls in a seemingly endless pit. Eve Belduke is born. 18 years before Espella Cantabella is born. Around 10 years before Past events from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future* Hershel Layton goes to Gressenheller University and is taught by Dr. Andrew Schrader. He meets Claire and starts a relationship with her. A time machine experiment goes wrong and blasts Claire to 10 years in the future. Her soul returns after a few minutes and she dies. Hershel Layton finishes his education. Eventually he becomes a professor himself. Janice Quatlane is one of his students. Several years before Past events from Professor Layton and the Last Specter* Luke Triton is born. Professor Layton helps out Emmy Altava when she is falsely accused of being a thief. A little over two years before Jean Descole kidnaps Doland Noble and Brenda Triton. He starts terrorizing Misthallery with his "Specter". Two years before Events from Professor Layton and the Last Specter* Emmy Altava becomes Professor Layton's assistant. Professor Layton and Emmy go to Misthallery and meet Luke Triton. Together, they solve the mystery of the Specter and defeat Jean Descole. In the end, they find the Azran's "Golden Garden". A little under two years before Events from Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva* Melina Whistler sends a letter to Professor Layton under the name of her friend Janice Quatlane. Professor Layton and Luke take part in the "game of eternal life" while Emmy investigates Ambrosia with Dr. Schrader. Professor Layton solves the legend of Ambrosia bun playing the three sacred songs together, causing Ambrosia to rise from below the water. A little over a year before Randall Ascot meets Jean Descole and they make plans for Randall to take revenge on Henry Ledore. Randall becomes the Masked Gentleman and starts terrorizing Monte d'Or. A year before Events from Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask* Professor Layton, Luke and Emmy go to Monte d'Or after receiving a letter from Angela Ledore. They eventually unmask the Masked Gentleman and defeat Jean Descole. They discover the true treasure of the Akbadain ruins. Shortly before Desmond Sycamore finds Aurora in her icy prison in Froenborg. Shortly before Events from Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy REFERENCE TIME A year later Events from Professor Layton and the Curious Village* Professor Layton and Luke explore St. Mystere Professor Layton saves Flora Reinhold from the Tower and adopts her. Several days later Events from Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box* Professor Layton and Luke take the molentary express to Luxenbelle. They find Flora, who was also on the train in disguise. Temporary stop in Dropstone The train moves on, but ends up going to Folsense. The mysteries of Folsense are solved. Several months later Events from Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Unknown Claire arrives in London from 10 years in the past. Clive finishes the work on Future London. Several months later Events from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future* Professor Layton receives a letter from Future Luke Professor Layton and Luke find the clock shop and are brought to Future London ...
