The Tokyo Game Show (東京ゲームショウ, Tōkyō Gēmu Shō), often referred to as TGS, is an annual expo / convention for Japanese video game developers. The show is held at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan. It is organized by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (initially "Computer Entertainment Software Association"[1][2]). The show was first held in 1996[3]. Up until TGS2001 autumn, it was held twice a year in spring and autumn[3]. LEVEL-5 and Capcom are two the attending companies. The show is open to the public during the last 2 days only. Ticket cost varies from 1000 to 3000 Japanese Yen[4] (approx. $12.8 - $38)

TGS2011 Edit

A new trailer for Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney was released. There was also an English version of the press release about the game, hinting at a possible English release.

TGS2012 Edit

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney gets its first playable demo. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, Professor Layton and the Phantom Thieves and Layton Brothers: Mystery Room are also present. All games receive new trailers.
